Longevity of the LS7?
That is all going to depend on driving habits. I had my stock ls6 clutch in my camaro for 50,000+ miles before slippage. I beat the car up since I bought it from the dealership. Then put a Ram clutch in with a bolt on and cam and ran great for a year. I have another one in it now and it hasn't lasted 1k miles. So my next setup will be the LS7. Obviously a normal street machine will last longer than the weekly trips to the race track. Not trying to be a smart *** here, but driving habits and massive power will make a huge difference in lifespan.
We need to see how these stand up under hard use and with higher power levels.
You can kill any clutch faster by slipping it rather than dumping it but for best 60 ft and to not kill rear end slipping is usually better.
I think normal non track use on non drag tires the ls7 clutch will do fine.
Should know a lot more soon as more guys hit the tracks with them.If they survive the track well they should be near bulletproof on the street.
