Default t56 to 4.3

alright i got a 2000 silverado with a 5 spd in it now, its junk and im really wanting to put in a t56. iv talked to 1truess and he told me to ask you guys and see if you guys could help out. i got a 4.3 and was wondering if a t56 would bolt up, if so whats everything that needs changed and all. i know a new master and slave cylinder, of course a clutch, what bout intermediate plate? and what about the cross member? i know the driveshaft will prolly need to be changed but thats ok but i want to put 4.56 gears in the back with a 12 or 14 bolt rear end. anyways will it work? thanks guys

Fitting a T56 to a 4.3 is exactly like fitting a T56 to an 86-up SBC / LT1. Question is, do you want to go with the aftermarket box, use an LT1 box, or LS1 box?
