Default Fluid Leak

Ok, every now and then, I'll find a small spot off fluid under my car. Upon inspection it appears to come from between the bell housing and the transmission itself. When I first noticed it, I suspected it was a rear main seal leak, and living overseas made a correcting that impracticle so I've just tolerated the leak. Recently though, my clutch pedal has started to stick to the floor and I started to wonder if maybe my slave is leaking fluid, this might explain why the leak is intermittent. My question is, is there a way to definitively tell whether this fluid is oil or hydrolic fliud without pulling the tranny? If it is the slave, I don't want to have to pull the tranny twice, since I won't be able to get a slave local.

Any thoughts would be very helpful...Thanks.

Well if it where the clutch, the reservoir would have run down quick.
It is likely something else, what does the fluid look like, & it's consistancy?
Clutch to the floor on hard driving sounds like typical stock clutch/hydraulic's going bad.

The fluid in the resevoir has gone down, but not that quickly. But like I said the leak doesn't happen that often. The fluid is pretty dark, but no darker then the fluid in my resevoir but the color could be that of older oil as well. As far as consistency, its tough to say I really can't tell the difference between hydrolic fluid and oil.

Oh yea, I should mention that about 20k miles ago I replaced the clutch and slave with updated Problem is after the install, the tranny was making the same bearing noise that it was before the install. After a couple of weeks of driving, we found out the pilot bearing was toast, so I was thinking maybe those 2-3 weeks of driving may have weakened the slave and throughout assembly.
