Clutch death question ....

Clutch death question .... My Spec III clutch finally wore out. As it reached it's end of life the slave cylinder developed a leak and also died.
The result was one night the clutch locked up and refused to release.
Just replaced the clutch (with a stock LS6 one this time) and now noticed that first, third and reverse will sometimes jump out of gear if I don't "guard" the stickshift with my hand. This was not happening before the clutch died.
Can the clutch "dying' as I've mentioned cause tranny problems like I've described ?

does it happen at low rpms.. say if your going to take a corner, let off the gas then push on the throttle again and it pops out.. I suppose a poor engaging clutch could break or strip a synchro because that happens to me in 3rd and its from my old burnt clutch not engaging right, or maybe the the cylinder and slave failing? i replaced all 3 at the same time so im sure exactly which it was
