Hurst Billet Shifter Issue...

Hurst Billet Shifter Issue... Hey guys, I am having an annoying issue with my Hurst Billet shifter. When I move the stick from neutral (center of 3-4 gate) to the right (center of 5-6 gate) it has a sticky, unsmooth feeling. When I move it from neutral (center of 3-4 gate) to the left (center of 1-2 gate) however it is as smooth as can be. I thought something might have been inherently wrong with my shifter, so I sent for another one and it too had the same issue. I then tried to drive it a few thousand miles to see if it might go away and it hasn't. I am really upset with the way this shifter feels and will probably switch back to my stock Hurst, which when put back on the tranny, shifts perfect. After some searching and a little reading, I think I'm the only one that has this issue or has at least noticed it. Do everyone else's Hurst Billet Plus shifters work flawlessly, without this issue?
