Default Tooth missing off flywheel?!?

tooth missing off flywheel?!? RAM says i can just have a new tooth put on?? has anyone ever heard of this? not sure how this would work since the setup is balanced!! and how would the tooth be replaced??

I would guess theyd have to try and weld and re grind the teeth. I dont think youll be out of balance considerably... I would either just run it like that, or replace it. Even if you buy a used one and resurface it.
