Adjusting CarTek Clutch?
Thanks.

There is a securing nut on the rod you have to loosen. 1/2" if I remember correctly.
To move the pedal downward, make that rod shorter. Vice-versa to extend the pedal outwards.
Do changes 1-2 turns at a time. They make a big difference. I just turn it a few times, go drive it, and repeat until I like it.
Then secure that nut again.

we bled it and scratched our heads and then figured out the nut has to be back towards the driver after you adjust or you can't get the rod into the master enough to disengage.you move the rod counterclockwise to move it closer to firewall and clockwise to move it farther out.
Thats if you are grabbing it at the very back near the firwall right where it goes into master.
If you did it from front of rod near driver it would be opposite.I still want to know where most of you guys set it approximately from floor..close to floor, middle or way out.I seem to find it goes into gears a bit smoother as you move it farther out at high rpm.Too close to firewall you get no gears or 1st and reverse are difficult or impossible.A bit farther out and 1st and reverse go fine but third still seemed to go not good at high rpm..a bit farther and now third seems much better at high rpm.I also think I noticed that the clutch gets a bit more grabby and harder to drive smooth as it warms up in traffic..anyone notice this.I will check/do my drill mod probably this week and think 3.73 or 4.10 gears will also make it more driveable in heavy traffic.I have 3.42 right now.
And it didn't feel like it did much, Do I need to make it shorter to get it to engage lower down? It (the rod) was almost bottomed out (short) when I first started tinkering with it.
I turned it about 1 full turn, almost no difference.
Thanks.
