I noticed this happening to my Z.
When I flooring the car , shifting ifrom second to third ... . Immediatelly after
I shift to third the car feels like it bogs.... Looses power for a min , then
continues.. ( Does'nt feel like its missin)
Car is a 98 Z .. With only a LID AND A CATBACK... ..
Transmssion whines... and at times . Grinds 3rd and 4th gear ... Its sometimes difficult to get into those gears.. When you get on it... It feels like it
falls flat on it its face after shifting wide open throttle from second to third..
EXAMPLE..
When I floor it.. At times when I am rowing the gears...
without the tranny grinding..
1st is fine.. Then Comes second ... After being on top of second,, shifting
into third...... Right after I shift the car feels like it bogs for a min , then
continues to pull.. ( I don't know ) - This is the best I can describe the problem.

Not a whole lot of useful detail there but my guess is clutch slip. Can you smell clutch? Try to pull hard( a speed too low for OD) in 5th or 6th. It should show you how much it is clamping( or not). You have done the drill mod, right?
