Default what broke off? (pic inside)

The transmission is a T56 in a 98 camaro. I got under the car to find a rattling noise and saw this. What is supposed to go to this bracket that broke off?

That looks like about where the exhaust hanger mounts...

so it went from there to the hanger on the passenger side part of the Y?

alright thanks alot man. will i be needing that piece. I have LT to a Y with a bullet muffler on the end and a turn down. Its supported at the tip with a hanger, will i need this stock one?

P.S what rims are on your car? I like them alot

You really shouldn't need it as long as your hangers are doing their job further back...mine doesn't really do a whole lot of supporting.

The rims are CCW SP500s, 18x10 up front, 18x11 in the back.
