transmission problems!!!!!! hey guys i was wondering if you might be able to give any ideas on what could be some of the possible problems with my T56 tranny here is the situation i was drivin my 02 TA WS6 and i went to pass someone so i down shifted into 4th then it remained stuck in fourth so i stopped and played with the shifter and got it out of 4th then i tried to put it in another gear and finally got it in another gear and it started to work fine, then the next day it locked up again and now it will shift in most of the gears but it takes alot of finess and wiggling since then i parked it and i was wondering where would be a good place to start to find and fix the problem
could the forks be bend and maybe some of the pins could be sheared off from quick shifting while racing or could a the linkage be bent??????
any advice or knowledge would be great but for now i am going to do research on the net to gain knowledge of the internals of the tranny
