There is no way a assembled T56 weighs in at 72 lbs, none, ever. You must be talking about a T5.

no, it is a t56 alright, out of my '99, and the one i bought is out of a '99. IDK. maybe the scales that UPS have are fuct-up but that is what it said, honestly i thought they are heavier too.

maybe the way it was sitting on the scale (off center) caused it not to be accurate. however it worked out for me, only $68 to ship it.

I'm the one who bought the "72lb" T56. When I saw the shipping weight (via UPS tracking), I wondered what could be in the box -- but sure enough, it was a complete T56.

BTW, I helped the driver unload it--NO WAY is that thing anywhere near 70lbs! Enjoy the "cash back" on shipping!

What about the weight of the flywheel (while we're on the weight subject) ..... do you guys know the weight of an average steel flywheel? I'm supposed to be getting a shipped T56/conversion soon, so just trying to calculate as many of the parts as I can (I've already got a clutch here that I just weighed at 31 lbs ).

Thx!

^ ^ I wonder if they measured 72 kg?? (kilograms) ..... convert that to lbs (*2.2) and it works out to 158?
