scatter shield I did a search and it did not help. Does anyone have a scatter shield that bolts right up to the engine and tranny with no modifications. I have seen the one from thunder racing but by the look of it, it looks like the LT1 scatter shield.

I have it. You do have to grind down a bit of the oil pan, maybe clearance the starter, and check the bolts that come with the kit (mine were STD - the block holes are metric). Other than that, it's pretty much your typical "well this is a pain in the ***" LS1 work.
