Default Possible to install C6 Z06 transmission to a C5?

I am actually planning on converting my auto to a 6 speed. It has already lost the 3-4 clutch pack. The car is long paid for and i don't want to sell it and buy a new/used 6 speed corvette. My vette has a 550 hp engine so i don't want to risk even buying a FLP Level 5.

So, would anyone know whether a C6 Z06 transmission can be installed in a C5?

Anyone know the price of a C6 Z06 transmission?

Thanks,

Paul

You would also have to use the C6 Z06 differental. If I am not mistaken the C6 Z06 has a 32 spline output shaft. Other than that it should be a direct bolt up.
