The LSS goes well with the Pro 5.0. When I went from the stock 5.0 shifter to the LSS I was like because of how low everything sat. Now that I am used to it, the LSS doesn't feel as short now. I still love it though and probably won't cut it down any.

When I first installed mine the stop bolts were keeping it from going into gear. Did you adjust them while in gear and back off 1 turn? That's how I set mine up. Works great, goes into gear easily and you can't over-do it.

Thumbs down

Uhmmm...think about it. If you stretched that boot I showed in the pic up and over the base of the shifter, you just exposed all the shifter guts to the road elements under the car....and that's dumb. The stock shifter has a boot built in the shifter to protect it.

yup that is what i did.. i think while tightening it in 2nd gear the locking nut might of moved causing the screw that goes to the stick go a little further in. but ever since i put some mucle in it lol it has been fine..

That's the same boot I'm talking about and the same boot in the pic I posted on the other page.

Yeah, I cut it. Don't know how you managed to get it around the base without cutting. That's an awfully tight fit isn't it?
