Whirring Sound

Whirring Sound ok this only happens when the clutch pedal is pushed in, it will make a "whirring" sound and you can also feel it through the clutch pedal, it's like something's making very small contact w/ the recipricating flywheel?
also, when the car is making a WOT shift, i can hear a "grunting" noise coming from the clutch area? it's almost like the whirring sound when the clutch is pressed in, but it's a little more louder and deeper noise.
ya'll think this is a sign of the throwout bearing going bad?
clutch does not slip at all, it grabs and holds good, just got these wierd noises in which are not normal.
car is a '99 Z28 w/ stock hydraulics and stock clutch.

I might as well replace the clutch while i am there then right?? I really don't have the money for a clutch but i hate to take it all apart and then turn around and have the clutch go bad lol but its not slippin tho.

What does a 01/02 slave cost?? do i also need the master to??
its a good idea to get both at the same time, but expect to take 3hrs to do the master. i dont know the prices of the slave/master offhand.
