LT1 t-56 to BBC
I have an lt1 t-56 which I am going to be putting behind my bbc. I have all the stuff to make it work with a stock bellhousing but i would really like to go to a blow proof bellhousing and a push style clutch. Does anyone know if this is possible to do? I assume that Mcleod makes the parts needed but I am waiting to recieve a catalog from them to find out.
Also who do you guys reccomend to do upgrade work on the t-56 to make it stand up to 490hp and 505ft/lb?

Alright I am already on nastyz28.com same screenname there. Only one person has really had any advice at all for me on it over there.
As for the upgrades, I talked to amber last night and I am going to buy a 45 gallon rubbermaid container tonight.

go here:
www.t56kit.com and then call them!
They are the one's you want to talk to. Thay have already done the legwork and can sell you a kit with all the special brackets, trans crossmember, and the modifications needed to get it to work in your Camaro.

The trans has already been in the car with stock bellhousing and hydraulics. I am just wanting to change to a push style clutch instead of the excessively expensive pull style lt1 clutch.
