transmission problems/ PS problem- Once in a while when I depress the clutch and shift, the petal will not go all the way back up on its own. When I press it again to shift the shifter is very hard to put in gear. If I put my foot under the pedal and lift it back into place it works normally and the shifter works just fine. I have had this bird about a month and it has happened about 3 or 4 times. I have the LS1 - 6 speed. Since I am asking.....I still can't get the whine out of the power steering pump. Tried taking the belt off and spinning the pump backwards and back and forth. Changed the pump and still have the problem. Driving me crazy! I love this car except for these problems.....any help would be appreciated....JIM
Usually when the clutch pedal starts to stick to the floor, the clutch is on its way out. You might try bleeding the system to see if that helps but likely you need a new clutch.
