I agree with My99TAWS6's post 100 percent.

The kevlar disks are going to be grabby and not so street friendly. But, after breaking it in, it does allow for some slipping now, although i do receive a bit of chatter if i dont engage/slip the clutch correctly when in stop and go.

LISTEN to me....GO to byunspeed and get you a tex eko stel. I put one in my 460rwhp camaro and it is BY FAR the best clutch I have ever used. I had an exedy twin disk in my 06z06 and a RPS twin disk. BOTH OF THESE SUCKED! The TEX is the sweetest clutch ever. The install is easy and the chatter goes away in 100 miles. I had given up on clutches till i tried this one. I have driven camaros with ram, all spec stages, centerforce and ram....throw that **** out the door..get this tex and you will be HAPPY.

Umm think got this backward. The discs that normally come with the tex are the ceramic /metallic one sprung and one unsprung puck style discs. Pretty much race track discs. Can be used on street but not that fun sometimes. As they get hot from heavier traffic they seem to get grabbier and more annoying.

The carbon kevlar are full face sprung discs which should be much more streetable and few guys have run them now. They are not sold with the tex normally think still in testing phase. I have some to try out. Another guy said they were more street friendly than the ceramic ones. The ceramic ones do get a bit better with break in. But in my case I have over 1000 miles and would not say they are totally street friendly. And I have tried the second gear slips and all that stuff. No track use though.

I can deal with it in all but heavy traffic. If was in heavy traffic would be ripping it out and putting in an auto if those carbon/kevlar discs don't mellow it out sufficiently.
See how it goes next season. If you are not hardcore track guy and don't need the power handling of the tex twin I would go with the single tex its good to 700 ft pounds.I may even go back down to one of those and just not run as much boost as was planning occasionally.

Go Tex Twin. Byun Speed ( I know that's not correct spelling!) Is a outstanding sponsor and a very supportive individual... warranties are on paper... I've seen heard and witnessed on various occassions where even beyond reason Tex supports and stands firmly behind there' products. No regrets here.
