Cant go into Second Need Help
Cant go into Second Need Help Guys My car upshifts and downshift perfectly into the 4 higher gears. But I have to be going liek under 10 to get into first and sometimes slower, but when im completely stops it goes in fine. Then second is just a bitch. An upshift at WOT or just shiftin at 2k are always hard. Maybe once a week it will go right in. I double clutch on all shifts and usually when I go to go into second it is like gear isnt there, its liek closed off, then Ill pull it out and try ti again sometimes it works the second time and sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries or even more.
A downshift into second usually requires blipping the throttle to even get into gear. Sometimes I have to Put it almostin second blip the throttle then it will let it slide in, sometimes it takes a couple tries. What do you guys think this could be, how much to fix?

The 2nd gears in 2001 and olders have a weaker 2nd gear. The synchro teeth on the gear are shorter and skinnier. We only use the viper 2nd gear with the longer and fatter teeth. That is probably some of the problem.
