Default trans mount/clunking problems?

I replaced my trans mount with a 1LE version from gm parts direct about 1month ago. Seemed good the 1st week but it seems to have loosened up. The reason I replaced it was because I heard a clunk under hard shifts. Seemed to have when a way but now it's back. Checked all bolts with transmission crossmember and mount bolts every seemed tight, took down the mount and noticed that the bolt that sticks out of the mount seems loose. it has some play to it and seems to be defective. Not sure if this has anything to do with the clunk under hard shifting, but I guess I will have to replace it. Torque arm is tight so I know it can't be that. The output shaft of the transmission seems to have some play to it but i don't know if it is normal. It is not leaking or anything. I though it might be the driveshaft but it seems to be tight at the yokes and everything. Any ideas? Should I start by replacing the transmount again? Could the transmission output shaft have too much play? Thanks.

sounds like the noise is coming from the torque arm area, so if i replace trans mount and torque arm mount, and it is still there what else could it be? A clunk from the area could be engine mounts, could it?

The tranny mount bolt that sticks out should not move, sounds like the mount is defective. I had the same problem with the "clunk". My prob was a worn out tranny mount. U may wanna change it again. If that doesnt fix it, it is most likely your engine mounts but rarely do they go bad unless you are pushing much more HP/torque than stock
