What Caused This...
What Caused This... Was on the freeway and was down shifting from 6th to 5th and the clutch wouldn't let me engauge into 5th. tried to go back to 6th and wouldn't let me do so. then tried any gear and they were all locked out. pretty scary **** 
gonna be tearing into the tranny this winter to change the slave, clutch, throwout bearing, etc. but just curious.... when i was pulled over, stopped, wouldn't engauge in any gears either. eventually was able to get it into 1st but when i did it sounded like a grinding noise and the whole damn car would shake

Yup I just had the same problem. It sometimes wouldn't go into gear at a stop, and also sometimes wouldnt go in gear while i was moving. I had the clutch fluid bled and filled up with new stuff, shifts a lot better now. Check your clutch fluid resevior, if its black its bad anyway, mine actually had what looked like grease in it. Also try changing your transmission oil too.
ya it looks like grease... pretty shitty
...gonna go with some nice dot 4 **** and a new master cylinder and possibly wrap the clutch line for now and do the slave cylinder over the winter i guess.
