hey guys ive installed a couple clutch's before and am about to install the 3+ now ive seen that you all have been talking about shiming some clutch's, i never had to do this with any of the clutch's ive installed. Dose the 3+ have shims or is there anything i should know before I install this clutch.

I would EBAY the piece of **** spec,....and get yourself a better clutch.

Those things SUCK.

I've watched two cars totaled by there exploding clutches.

2 cars that I know of, and about 5 others that I know of VIA email from members on this here site.

Trust me, buy somthing else...or buy yourself a bullet proof bellhousing.

..that is, if you like your feet.

Its hit or miss with em' Ive had 4 of them so far, only one was defective after 5k miles and they have 120 day warranties on them, it was coverered. use the shim, upgrade your slave cylinder if its not a 01-02 LS1 car, and definately buy a urethane trans mount, because after you break the clutch in and rip it down the road, you WILL break the mount lol! I love my spec
