Default Throw Out Bearing Question

Just a quick question. Is the bearing supposed to be able to move around. I'm not talking about spinning, like it doesnt stay centered. Just curious because I've been trying to replace the throw out bearing and none of the auto parts stores carry them so I was going to put the original back in.
Thanks,
Ike

I have my clutch out of my WS6 right now. I was going to replace the throw-out bearing. (Advanced Auto) sells just the bearing. However, most people on this site recommended replacing the entire slavce cylinder/throw out bearing assembly. Advanced Auto sells this assembly for only about $20 more than the throw out bearing alone.

Good luck!

Please just replace it with the slave. you'll regret it later if it goes bad.

Well the slave is a 3000 mile old new one. An 01 02 model at that. Be kinda pointless.

I mean if it wasnt so new then it would be a different story. I just need to know if the bearing is supposed to move around a little.
