Popped out of first

I have a 5.0 shifter and and a stock trans with spec 3 . well i went to the track today and got to the line and droped the clutch at 4 grans ( i am trying to get used to the new 9in ) and it seemed to pop out of first right away off the line 2 times in a row

So after the second rn i said **** it and left . But on my way home i was messing with it and it never would pop out after alot of beating and could not get it to do it . I got home and adjusted the bolts for the up shift on first on the 5.0 and it did look liek you could barely get a piece of paper in between . It has never done this before today and the lane i was in was new to me i usually run the right lane Becouse the other lane rolls a little and never have a trouble with the right . I did notice the left lane was bumpy as hell and it was making my car hop on burnout . By the way im on et steets !

Possible that you have one or two of the keys/dogs on your 1/2 syncro broke but you will only know in time when it gets stuck in 1/2. If it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about it. If you have any more ? just ask. I just did a rebuild on mine and thats what was causing me to fall out of 3rd and lock in 4th.

Ya it has no problems in 3rd or any other gear and has never been stuck . I am hoping it was just the bolt was to close on the 5.0 shifter on the up shifts . wont know till next season it is on jacks getting more mods now
