LS7 clutch users
This clutch is a direct bolt on application. NO SHIM. The pedal will feel like that for a little while. Its a higher performance clutch & it adjusts itself over time. You go sticking a shim in where its not needed & your problem will not get any better.
Listen to those of us who have actually installed this clutch system & are running it. I actually liked mine engauging right off the floor. Now its back to normal. Mine has been in for a couple months now & I love it.
Be patient & let it do its thing. It will go back to the stock engaugement point.

The sponsor shop who did the work advised they had been having more success with the updated GM hydraulics than the various adjustable masters. So they talked me into replacing my McLeod with a new GM Master and I had them bore out the line restriction. They told me mine was the first LS7 clutch they had installed.
I'm tossing around the idea of putting the McLeod master back in, but I am worried I'll make an inconvenient issue worse. SPEC told me that the Stage 2 and 3 clutches I bought from them were self-adjusting as well. However, the McLeod worked great with them. What's the difference?
