spped sensor \ skip shift wiring problem!! HELP!!
spped sensor \ skip shift wiring problem!! HELP!! my roomate has a 94 cam that was originally a 3.4 A4 we changed to a LT1 T56.... we are having a bit of a wiring problem.... there is no pigtail for the skip shift! for now we plugged the speed sensor pigtail into it and it runs great, but no speedo.... when you plug the lead into the speed sensor, it works great, but you only have gears 1-4-R..... I was assuming that a small amount of voltage keeps that skip shift solenoid from engaging, but I was wondering how to get around it? can I tap into the speedo lead, or will that burn somthing up? or send the speedo the wrong signal? just need a little guidance!
