Right on man, doing it on jackstands must have been a bitch. I did mine on a lift with 2 other people helping and it was still a pain

its the ls2 f/w and ls7 clutch im a small guy so it aint hard on jackstands i did it by myself i just needed an extra hand stabbing the tranny back in. about 4hrs is all it took.

The LS7 clutch is a direct swap. You just need the LS2 flywheel too. I put one in my car back in August. It's a good clutch.

Good choice.

I'm really happy with mine too. I also did mine in the driveway on jackstands. Really ain't that bad.

the swap was not bad at all i the pedal is very soft compared to my old ram and it engages alot lower, i think i will be able to launch it better.

How much does the LS2 flywheel and LS7 clutch run? Do they make an aluminum flywheel that would work? Thanks

awesome man. that clutch will come back up to an almost stock engagement point. when i first put mine in (also on jackstands, which sucked) it grabbed RIGHT off the floor after about 500 miles of driving it was almost back to stock.

I still drive on my stocker (30k), but when it comes time I am getting that clutch.

$375 For the whole set up? Where'd you find that? Speed inc sells the clutch for something around that, but the flywheel for an extra $200 or so.

I'm definitely going this route as well when it comes time.
