Default stiff shifting. synchro or hydralic???

driving normal shifts perfect. up high it hard to get into gear, every gear. never grinds. just had the tranny apart and all blocker rings looked good.

also after shifting at wot, when I come to a stop its hard to get into all gears. sit there for a sec and it gets smooth agian.

has new slave and a 98 master.

I mightyvaced the system.

I searched and didnt see anything like this.

TIA

Mike

This is a very common issue with these trannys. Mine was doing it last year. I just took it out yesterday and I found a bolt that came loose on the slave. The trow out bearing has got a O ring that is shot. I'm going to buy a new slave and loc tite the basterds in.
But my clutch does'nt have much life left. So might as well fresh'n it up while I'm in there. And I'm gonna take the tranny back to RPM to be inspected.

I'd say it's your master since its a 98 model.
