napa clutch?

Default napa clutch?

i'm just wondering what kinda quality you get from a store like napa or autozone when buying a clutch. i'm sure it's not much.

Well, if you go to AutoZone, you can purchase Luk clutches. Luk makes the stock clutches for many vehicles on the road, including the new LS7 clutch in the Z06. While you probably won't be able to waltz in and pick up a clutch kit for your Z06 at AutoZone, you can buy an upgraded high strength Luk clutch from them at reasonable prices. Luk makes a nice kit, by the way, and they offer a lifetime warranty. Probably would make a great stock replacement, but not much more than stock.

I don't know what Napa, Advance Auto, or O'Reily's carries. I don't work for them.

how do they compare with spec clutches as far as life and price?

specs hold a lot more power than NAPA/Auto Parts places.
