Beefed up T56
Does anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to build or what package i should get at T56 rebuilds for my TA? With n20 ill be arround 700hp/tq. I was wondering if anyone has about the same amt. of power and what kind of package you have. I will drive it on the street and at the track Thanks for the help.

I would suggest going with the package 1A at $950 and adding the viper mainshaft conversion for $799. If you are going to take it to the track I think doing the viper ms would be a smart thing to do. The package 1a comes with all of the upgraded parts but does not include gears so if one of the needed to be replaced that would be additional. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Amber

I went through jason at texas drive train performance he gave me a hell of a deal on my most my tranny (carbon fiber sync, steel 3-4 forks, bronze fork pads, billet keys). this is some of it if needed i can get the recipt. then i found a guy to build it here in lubbock for $250 and ended up with a beefed up tranny and ram hd for $1100.

Details there...I don't think that includes the transmission specs, but I'm pretty sure it is a face-plated T-56, built, of course, by Joe.
