What is the Strongest Trans....

hi....
i would i ask if i got from 800 to 900 hp to my trans am 1999 M6, what is the strongest Transmission M6 work fine with this power????

I've never had that kind of power in either of my LS1'S but I would suggest D&D Performance Transmissions to build you a custom T-56

My Firehawk has had between 450-6xx rwhp over the past 4 years. I installed a D&D tranny with all the re-inforced Viper tranny parts over 4 years ago.

I've beaten the living crap out of this thing . . . 1/4 street racing, roll-racing, un-called-for 6-2 and 5-2 highway downshifts, extremely high-speed highway racing for extended periods and the transmission has held King Kong strong while I ate THREE Spec 3 clutches

If you plan on running 800-900 hp through a T-56 style tranny I'd suggest a LOT of research on tranny's and clutches

G-force prepped tranny is prob the strongest... but wayyy too much money for my tastes. Im just gonna get a rebuild from t56rebuilds. Should be more than sufficient.

T-56 Rebuilds warrantied mine to 700 HP...nothing special, just their package 4B rebuild (still on the stock main shaft). I'm sure they could whip you up something nice to handle that power.
