Bell Housing Question

I had a quick question about removing the bell housing from the motor....i removed the trans from the bell housing to make it easier to get to the top bell housing bolts...My question is do you only remove the 8 bolts around the bell housing to get it to come off or is there other bolts im not seeing because it still seems pretty sealed on the motor? Im a lil scared to pry it to hard and maybe break sumthing if i missed a bolt that i didnt know about..Thanks in advance

It should just be the 8 bolts. but theres also 2 dowel pins. Its pretty tight on there so try and ease it off. Definitly goto installuniversity.com and follow their guide. I'm not 100% on the total number of bolts but I think you're good with 8.

Sounds right on the 8 bolts. The dowel pins suck mine was almost seized onto them

took me a while prying to get it to come loose. kinda had to rock it up and down and work it off the dowels. still beats having to deal with the tranny/bellhousing as one big piece.
