6-Speed 350 in 3rd gen questions....
I know this isn't an LS! question.. but.... I've got a 3rd gen Firebird that has a transplanted rebuilt old chevy 350 (bored .60 over to be either a 360 or depending on the crank a 383) matched with a 5 speed transmission. I wanted to drop both in my 2.8L auto Camaro. But an LT1 6-speed has just become available and have been told that it should match up just fine with this engine.
What kind of headaches/things to watch out for am I going to need to do with this swap? Plan is to put the v-6 back in the bird to sell it. Will that match up to the 5-speed?
Am I going to have probs with any sensors, wiring harnesses, etc?

The lt1 t56 will mate just fine to the 350. But I'm pretty sure the v8 t5 won't bolt onto the v6, I believe the spline count is different. Some t5s had a cable for the speedo, some were vss, the t56 is vss so you might have to get an adapter. You will need all the clutch hydrolics from the lt1 car as well, the t5s aren't long enough. Obviously you will need to mount new pedals and cut a hole in the tunnel.
