Clutch and Flywheel
Clutch and Flywheel looking to do the SPEC 3+. Their website does not specify if you can use the stock LS1 flywheel. Has any installed the 3+ to there stock LS1 flywheels with success?
Also what would you do for a clutch that will see strip launches on drag radials? I am considering the LS7 with LS2 flywheel, or the SPEC 3+ with a resurfaced stock LS1 flywheel.

You can use the stock resurfaced flywheel provided it is surfaced right and 100% flat. I have the billet flywheel though and thats the way i would go if I had to do it again.

Make sure that the flywheel is ground and not lathed. Also, after the resurface, lay a straight edge on it to insure flatness. Has you stock wheel be resurfaced before? If so then you may want to buy a new unit...there is nothing worse than going through the trouble of machining and installing a wheel that is too thin. Doing this would lead to slippage.
