Mity Vac bleeding
hey guys. 01 SS having trouble with pedal sticking to the floor when on it hard. does fine normal driving. when i use the mity vac pumped to 12, i start pumping the clutch, about 3-5 pumps and no pedal. fluids starts up the hose towards the pump canister, but falls short due to no more pressure in the pedal. any tips? am i suppose to loose the pedal pressure that soon or even at all? new 01+ master

It's not going to keep sucking fluid. You will see some fluid come into the line as the vacuum hits the system. And after a while you should see some bubbles if there are any in the system. If you have to keep pumping the mity vac in order to keep it at 12 in of vacuum then you have a leak in the system somewhere.
Is the fluid black? It could be cooked after some hard driving.

fluid looks good, was changed with hight temp synthetic. line is wrapped and tucked behind heat shield. i did about 30 small pumps and got alot of small bubbles out. before on hard shifts 1-2 was fine,2-3 a lil hard to get in 3rd and pedal soft, 3-4 wont let me in and pedal stuck to floor. after bleeding it 2 times tonight clutch feels a little better and actually got thru 4th and was hard into 5th with soft pedal but didnt stick to floor. gonna bleed this facker agin tomorrow

the vacum from the pump can keep the pedal from coming all the way back up during bleeding. nothing to be alarmed at.
but if it doesn't come up during hard driving...could be due to the hydrolic line restriction built in by GM ...try the drill mod.
otherwise could be a sign of a faulty MC or slave
