2nd and 4th problems?
2nd and 4th problems? Recently my tranny has been being weird... I'm not sure if it's shot or what. I know I had it rebuilt in November 06 so it hasn't been awhile since it has been done. But here is what has been happening...
- When you try to downshift to 2nd it's extremely hard to go in and won't really go in but if you move the shifter to act like your going into first then go back it goes right in.
- 2nd and 4th gear when you rev the motor up high in RPMS act like they aren't there sometimes. Its like I hit a wall? No grinds just like a wall then it goes in.
I went to the track last night and couldn't manage anything so I'm not sure what's going on. I couldn't get it in 2nd or 4th most of the time. But Managed a 8.1 @ 84 w/1.78 60 ft and coasting to teh finish with no 4th gear. What could this be anyone?

I it happens only at high rpms then it could be your hydro system. How does 2nd and 4th feel when yo drive normally?

When I drive normally it feels fine. Never does anything at all. It goes in smooth as can be.
