clutch problems!

clutch problems! So a day ago I'm out cruising because it is nice out. Driving around town, stop and go and dont get over 35mph. After about a half an hour/45 minutes of driving, the clutch starts to chatter a lot and engage/disengage higher up on the pedal than normal, right before you take your foot off of the pedal. When it started to do this, I stoped and had a quick bite to eat for about 30 minutes. when I returned to the car to drive it again, the clutch did not chatter and the pedal went back to a more normal engagement point. It seems like this problem was directly related to the car/trans getting hot because after it sat and cooled for a little bit, the problem stopped. Any Ideas of what a problem might be or any experience with a similar problem?
Background info: car and mods are in sig. The clutch is a RAM replacement clutch, rated at 400hp I believe. The clutch has a little over 1000 miles on it and is well broken in. I bought the car from the previous owner who installed the clutch and the mods. Maybe he didnt bleed the slave cylinder properly? Any Ideas?

Could need a bleed, but more than likely you are getting the clutch fluid too hot, make sure your clutch line is away from the headers and put some heater hose or heat tape on the clutch line.
