Transmission break in... Here's the repair...
bronze fork pads
3-4 clutch fork upgraded to steel clutch fork
billet keys
replace 1-4 syncros
blocker rings replaced to new versions
reverse gear "flipped" to give me a more solid reverse selection
So I'm a few hundred miles in, how many more before I do some hard WOT shifts?
transmission rebuilder says I baby it lol 5th was near perfect along with 6th, even 1-4 looked good

I am doing a rebuild right now identical to yours (except for the reverse gear) but I have read to wait at least 500 miles before you abuse it. Also dont do any downshifts.

The only real worry you have with a fresh rebuild on the trans is the synchros. You'll want to make sure they're properly lubed up and mated in. Everything else is getting used the way it normally would anyway. Personally I'd run it a few hundred miles normally. I'd still downshift, but I'd avoid it at high RPMs. Just my opinion.

reverse is identical on both sides, since one side was "grinded", it was possible to just flip it during the install to use the good side. Now reverse feels like it goes in the first time rather than having to make sure it's in.
Yeah got mentioned the no downshifts, so I'll break it in some more.
