Default steeda shifter

will a steeda tri-ax from a 03-04 cobra(T56) work in a 99 trans am? ive heard it will if i get a straight short stick to bolt on it. thanks.

I haven't tried, and I've never seen a T56 out of a Cobra, so I base this knowledge not on experience, but guessing.

I think if it did fit, the shifters would be a universal fit.. and I don't think thats the case (I've never seen/heard of a steeda in a fbody) Hopefully someone who knows the details can step in.

no the shifter bolt pattern is different between a Cobra and an Fcar. They may make one that fits however.
