Default master and slave cylinder

My car just turned 100 on the clock and Im putting a new clutch in it. i hear that when you do this you should replace the slave and if you replace the salve you should rplace the master cylinder.

Are Ram's adjustable master cylinder and slave cylinder's any good?
Would a a 50$ advance auto slave be a pos, thanks

I dont know about the AA slave's.
But I would put a quality GM one in IMO. I like to do it once & not gamble.
The ram master is good. it is a stock one made adjustable. I would do the drill mod as well.

Save yourself the trouble and get the one from GM. My AutoZone replacement (even though made by LUK, the manufacturer of the OEM one) went bad in three months.

The RAM master cylinder literally is just a stock GM unit with an adjustable bit welded onto the orig. rod. I had one that I got used, and it just started to leak. So I swapped it for a new GM one. I was able to swap the adjustable rod assembly into the new GM one. They are exactly 100% the same inside.

Just for some info. So if you buy a RAM now, you wont have to pay that much for another one in the future. Just get a stock GM one and swap the rod. Another thing...the RAM master didnt have the internal stop cut on mine. Which I thought had to be done for the ADJ. to be effective. Not sure about that...but I only use the adjustment because Im in a swap car and the pedals arent exact to the 4th gens...

Either way...I say go with the GM slave, and RAM master.
