Noting But Air....help
Noting But Air....help Ive been going at my hydraulics with my new mity vac for 3 days on and off. I still and getting LOTS of AIR.
I did a sl7 clutch swap and a new slave, but not master and yes my car has all 01-02 hydraulics. Why do I keep on getting air, it just wont ever end, I'm about to order new master and slave and be done with it.
I'm having LOTs of problem w/ keeping pressure in the system and disengagament of the clutch after the install.
any help would be awesome!!

I've thought baout that being the problem more than one but, when I disconnect the master form the slave and try to press the pedal it's wont compress so I know theres no air in it. I have no idea whats going on
I believe this is what will happen I am going to order a new master and have it tomorrow or the next day.
I do need a new bleeder valve for the slave, It got stripped anyone got an idea where I can get ant one?

You might have a bad slave if it is the later.

I had a leak in my slave cylinder so I kept getting air. The problem was that when I looked under the car for leaks there would only be a couple drops. It turned out that the fluid would leak into the front of the tranny and just sit there so you couldn't see it leaking. You may have to just pull the tranny and check.

check the seal where it compresses at and check the threading at the lines. You may also want to check the lines themselves. If there the problem you should swap them with braided lines cause it'll give you alot firmer pedal feel as well and they'll last longer.

not that I can think of unless you take it to a shop. once the tranny is out you may be able to seal the slave cylinder and find a pump to see if there's any leaks, but i don't know if that'll work
