Default Synchromax or Synchromesh for M6?

Well I am changing my tranny fluid soon and I have both Royal Purple Synchromax and G.M. Synchromesh. Has anyone had any long term experience with either? And yes I know some people don't recommend the Synchromesh but I want to hear real world experience. I really want to hear if shifting has improved or worsened with either product. Thanks.

I wouldn't run Synchromesh in a 99. The carbon synchro linings didn't come in until 01; gear oil (which synchromesh partially is) is not good for the fibre linings.
