Default Is this normal? Pics inside

This is the LS7 clutch setup. I have never done a clutch before so I don't know. I know how the flywheel goes and which way the clutch goes. I'm pretty sure the pressure plate goes on just like that. There are 3 tabs on the flywheel that correspond to the pressure plate. What I wanna know is that gap. Is that going to close when I bolt it down or what?

Yeah the gap will close. I think that pressure plate only fits one way over those tabs too. My LS7 went together with no issues so you should be fine.[QUOTE]

i think thats just because there is a burr inside the dowel holes, and this is keeping the dowel from sliding all the way in.

Hugger Z - Your right, it does only fit on there one way.

When I don't have the disk in between the fly and PP, it seat up perfectly so thats not it. Good idea tho
