Is there any difference in years on the t56??....I've been clicking around the net ,to find a crossmember for a 67-69 camaro ,and they all advertise them as 93-97 style and my t56 is out of a 2000

The rear mount on the T56 is the same for the LS1 and LT1. I've heard the F-body LS1 and LT1 T56 rear crossmember is different.

Well to bolt up to a SBC/BBC the LT1 trans bolts right up.
Unless your putting a LSx motor in the 1st gen 'camaro.
The LSx version has to be converted to a LT1 style to fit a SBC/BBC.
That takes a bellhousing front plate input shaft etc.
But I think Re is correct that the cross member is the same.

When we do the 67-69 Camaros we use the LS1 bellhousing, LS1 Transmission and Crossmember from BMR. It is a direct bolt in and only the shifter is slightly different. It sits about 1" farther back than the 4 speed did. Fits quite nicely and we usually do about 5-10 of these conversions monthly.
