Default master cylinder

i was just wondering do you have to change the master cylinder to put an ls7 clutch on a 98 trans am

No you dont. It is a good idea to change it if it is high miles but you don't have to.

I would change it. I would change to the 01-02 hydraulics and perform the drill mod. (My tranny has suffered enough and is going to need a rebuild)
