Default McLeod Adjustable Master Cylinder Question!!

I just ordered this baby does anyone else have it? I have a few questions about how to adjust the friction point on the disc. Do you screw the end of the shaft in or out for a closer friction point. In other words when I am letting my foot out I want to reach the friction point faster but I don't want any friction with the clutch depressed all the way. Any Ideas?

im pretty sure you would turn the top of the master cylinder as to shorten the rod if you wanted it to engage closer to the floor and you would want to lengthen the rod if you want it to engage higher up...i hope this helps

I noticed that this unit does not come with a reservoir am I supposed to use the old one? How do I attach it? cut the old one off and use a hose clamp?

Yeah...you use the old one...fits right in although I used a clamp instead of the zip tie provided...also you will use the o-ring from the stock cylinder...installation instructions can be found at installuniversity.com....good luck man...
