Default Changing gear ratios?

Hey guys,

I have a problem with my tranny (based on what I see on here, it sounds like broken keys), and I plan on rebuilding the tranny myself. I'm curious, though... is there any way to change the gear ratio in any of the gears? It seems that I could do much better at the track with a shorter 1st gear.

TIA.

Default

There are several gear ratios for the T56 but they have different torque capacities. The 1st ratios are 2.66,2.97 & 3.36. The lowest rated set being the 3.36. A swap gets pretty serious so I would suggest you leave that to someone who know the inside of the T56.You can investigate the options by contacting Rockland Standard Gear.
