Reverse Lockout Solenoid. I just finished my LS7 clutch swap, and since then I've had some problems with the plugs. First, after plugging in the skip shift, it was always on.. it locked me out of 2nd and 3rd. Also, reverse is really hard to get into. I checked the fuse and it seems fine.. but the issue is, both of these were fine when I unplugged everything. What could of changed to make both of these malfunction? Skip shift I don't care about, I can get it tuned out when I get my EGR/AIR taken out (if it isn't tuned out already, I've never had it lock me out before [2nd owner]) but I'd really like to not spend 150$ on the part for it to not be broken.
The plug for the skip shift solenoid and the reverse solenoid is the same and they will plug into either solenoid. The best way to determine which is which is to be sure the colors match. They are color matched to the solenoid. Black plug/ black solenoid connecter ect. I believe the black plug is reverse and the white plug is the skip.
