Default 2002 corvette transmission help

I recently got a good deal on a 2002 corvette transmission with transaxle and would like to make it fit in my nova, the only problem i can think of is its not a top shifter, it comes right out in front of the tranny above the input shaft. I have an lt1 im wanting to use, does anyone know if you can get a bellhousing to adapt to this kind of tranny? also could i use the tailshaft of a ls1 camaro? thanx.

You can't use a Vette transmission in a nova. The vette is a transaxel and must use a vette rear end. You will only be able to use the center section and that is it. The internals will need to be changed as well.
