changed transmition from auto to manual Hi every body I have a 1999 Camaro(ls1) i changed my transmition from automatic transmition to manual transmition without changing the wiring harness from automatic to manual because i didn`t find used power train control unit and wiring harness and im having problems.
1) The RPM went down to 500rpm with A/C. 600rpm without A/C.
2) The Speed meter is not reading correct.
3) When i Shift to revers its heavy and hard.
Never mind the Revers. If i want my speed meter to read Correct and my RPM to increase people told me to format(or flash) the power train control unit and install 1999 manual transmition program. Will i Have problems. If yes What Problems will i face.
